The funeral service for Roger will be held at the Lonergan & Raven chapel in Clifton Hill on Tuesday March 25, at 2pm.


Much loved husband of 42 years of Robin Burns.

Loved only brother of Jill Schaefer and Anne Andrews, uncle of James, Michelle, Peter, Jenny, Helen and Tom, and grand uncle of Matilda, Jack, Otto, Oscar, Harper and Millie

Brother-in-law of Roger Schaefer and Chris Andrews (dec).

Fond Cousin of Sheila Fitzpatrick, Helen Evens, John Davies, Alison O'Brien and Helen Pausacker.

Respected and loved by former colleagues from the La Trobe University Law School.

A man of integrity, a scholar and a gentleman.

In lieu of flowers, Roger appreciated donations to charity. One of his personal favourites was Bush Heritage Australia.
