My condolences and condolences of my parents, to the OLeary family, on the untimely death of DJ. Fond memories of fun and good times in both in Ireland and Australia when we were all younger and he and Martin came to our house on Saturdays and I visited them in Sydney.As with so many I was shocked to hear of DJ O'Leary's too soon departure from this world. Our sincerest condolences to all the O'Leary family. I too trained with DJ at SRS Aviation in the 1980's and we went to QANTAS together and later Malaysia Airlines. He was highly intelligent and very charismatic. We were close friends for many years before being geographically separated and had lots of good times together. Memories of trips to Mitchelstown, always a warm welcome and our few trips to Templeglantine for the home cured bacon. We were young and had some fun times together before DJ left for Quantas. I have many good/ fun memories of DJ. I still carry a lot of sayings in my head thanks to him. He taught me quite a lot, good and bad. We worked, we played, it was a lot of fun.
