Our sympathy to your family on the death of Audrey. I remember the large presence of your father David and the warm smile and friendliness of your beautiful and kind mother Audrey, when we visited as children with our parents Jan and Geoff Quail. I met Audrey through working for David and shared in waiting for her to arrive back from England to marry David. Then we welcomed Adrian and Jeremy and they were all part of our lives ever since. So grateful to have known such a very special person. Dorothy Williams

Wonderful ceremony in a beautiful setting. Sorry we couldn't be there with you. Brought back many happy memories of times on and off the rugby field. Especially, the great BBQ's at Warrandyte.

Audrey was a beautiful person and a loving and caring wife to David, mother to Adrian and Jeremy and beloved grandsons. She was an unstinting support to them all. I have happy memories of our times together, many social occasions with the Rugby fraternity and a memorable trip to the Rugby World Cup in France. I am sorry to have not seen her lately and will never forget her smile, her laugh and beautiful nature. With love and sadness and condolences to Adrian, Jeremy and their families.

Dear Aud, you were truly loved. While you were a year ahead of me at at school, we didn't meet until Valda introduced us in 1959. Thereafter it was a story of bushwalking with Youth Hostels, skiing at Buller and Hotham, hitch-hiking around Tasmania, and later catching up in London. I was delighted to be your bridesmaid. Years later, again, we enjoyed coffee mornings with Valda at U of Melbourne, and together mourned her death. An archive of e-mails remains. Love to Adrian, Jeremy and family.

My sweet angel Aunty Audrey, the world was a better place because you were in it. You were the sweetest, kindest person with the purest of all hearts. The beautiful memories we shared I will hold forever in my heart. My heart aches that you are gone but I know you are now at peace, pain free and reunited with Uncle David. You will forever be my angel above.

Sending you love on your journey Home Audrey. Ill never forget your casual compliment of my butt over dinner when you came home unexpectedly to find your sons girlfriend swimming naked in your pool. I liked your style - and your home made icecream. Rest In Peace Audrey.

As a friend to Adrian, I was delighted to find such a thoughtful and kindly woman as his dear Mother, Audrey. I recall meeting Audrey with her softly spoken but interested voice in the late 90s, where I was inspired to learn the detail of recycling! In a time when most Greenies didnt pay much attention to the labels or process involved, Audrey went the extra distance to pay attention to the details and take recycling seriously in the home. At 18 years of age, Audrey made an impression that has stayed with me. I was truely inspired to meet such a dedicated human and loving Mother. Sending my sincere regards and condolences to the family. Emmaline.

I first met Audrey through my cousin Valda McRAE. Audrey and Valda were colleagues sharing a house whilst teaching at Numurkah early in their careers. Later, Audrey met and married my classmate David. We shared regular professional and social events thereafter. Valda, who has passed away, had a closer relationship than I had with Audrey and I post this on behalf of Valda and myself.
