I first met Audrey through my cousin Valda McRAE. Audrey and Valda were colleagues sharing a house whilst teaching at Numurkah early in their careers. Later, Audrey met and married my classmate David. We shared regular professional and social events thereafter. Valda, who has passed away, had a closer relationship than I had with Audrey and I post this on behalf of Valda and myself.
