My deepest sympathy to Robin and other members of Roger's family on his passing. I cannot think of more fitting words to describe Roger than the final words of the funeral notice. "A man of integrity, a scholar and a gentleman". It was my great privilege to have been his colleague for many years until his retirement. May he rest in peace.
