When I started work at Radio Avon in christchurch in 1979 all the talk was of their man, Quentin, off to his big Australian career. I was a little awestruck to meet him later - through - Sue, in Melbourne. He was funny and warm and interested, and bold. Great company. It sparked great friendship, and great admiration. His Logie-winning doco on Raffaele Favero stays very much in mind. I ma sorry to be late to find this site. My thoughts are very much with Dan, Ben and Sam and all the family - including Sue, my old friend. RIP old cobber. A stand-out among men..
