Poor old Marilyn Finnigan, Begin Again.Or, as she might now be singing, Lucky old Marilyn Finnigan, as she begins her life anew in Heaven.While I only met Aunty Marilyn a few times, one particular memory of her kindness remains vivid and dear to me. As the youngest of her brother Trevors childrenand, I believe, the youngest in her family at the timeshe made a special effort to give me her undivided attention.I remember her taking me for a swim at Queenscliff Pool, carrying me on her shoulders as we glided through the water, while the older kids were off doing their own thing. In that moment, she made me feel included and valueda rare and precious gift, especially when I often felt left out.Marilyns gentle kindness and her ability to make others feel special will always stay with me. Heaven has surely gained a truly beautiful soul.
