Ruth Pidriz (nee Middleton) — 19 July 2024

Dear Bannenberg Family, Thank you for sharing your beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ruth. Ruth was a beautiful friend- as per the meaning of her name- to my mother Elsa. Ruth was warm and welcoming to me and my siblings, as friends to Fran, Emma and Clare. We shared fantastic holidays with your family at Wilson's Prom and at Eildon. Ruth was always sensitive to others, compassionate and so generous with her energy in preparing meals and snacks that she knew we would enjoy. She must have loved teaching us the things she knew, as she loved to chat about novels and shared many of her recipes, which I still have in her handwriting. Ruth stood out in her generosity and kindness when she knitted jumpers and cardigans for my baby son. I will always treasure my memories of Ruth. Thank you for sharing her with me and my family.
