Leonard Pearsell — 5 September 2022

Dear Eileen and FamilyTony was larger than life and always ready to help others.It was very stoic and much appreciated for Tony to come along to ST Thomas' CBC Clifton Hill old boys reunion luncheon only 4 weeks ago.He was very jovial as always and chatted with his class mates.I like many was in the same classroom with Tony for 11 years.We all started at St John's Clifton Hill 1955 and finished in 1965 at CBC St Thomas' just across the road.I sent out an email to 45 fellow classmates and have received many expression of fun times spent at school with Tony and requests to pass on our sincere and heartfelt condolences to you Eileen and your family.Personally I recall many battles and rivalry with Tony when I was Court Captain and Junior Secretary at View Bank Tennis Club as we did battle with St Bernadette's Tennis Club in men's and junior tennis.
