I remember a late night drive home to Alimp where Ken and Amirah were staying witth us after a Mt Hagen Show ball. 32 kms of dreadful dirt track and we were in no state to drive even around the corner. Amirah was with Barry in the LandRover who took the wrong turn to Danny Leahy's place before finally being located and re-directed! Ken and I had the kids in the sedan and how were lived to see another day I don't know. Ken wanted me to record Danny's life in full but after much prevarication he said he was saving it up for his children and though we have quite a lot of Danny Leahy info we never did get the full story that Ken wanrted. Ken, I tried to contact you after Pat White told me you'd moved to Melbourne but now I see I was too late. I'm so sorry. Such a lovely, warm, encouraging sort of person. Jude Blogg
