Such a sad loss but so warmly remembered. Ken and Amirah were very dear friends of my parents Don and Nan Dickson through nearly 50 years and helped me survive my lonely boarding school years with their warmth and generosity. And even though I had only a short time in Ken's History department of the University of Papua and New Guinea in 1969, he inspired me to reflect and think rather than just adopt the conventional wisdom.A truly humble and brilliant man.
