My most sincere condolences to Christine, Rachel, Mark, Rod and Pat. Fifty years of working closely with the extraordinary man that was Peter, and being both a colleague and friend, has been for me the most remarkable good fortune. Peter's profound intellect, personal humility, and ubiquitous commitments to equity and social justice have given so much to so many.
