Taffy, I and so many others before and after I had the privilege of working with you learnt so much from you. When the proverbial meets the fan I still ask myself 'what would Taffy do?'. My current deputy is a similar age to what I was when I worked with you. I hope that I can be half the mentor, role model and friend that you were for me. I would have been there today if not for an urgent trip to Vancouver to support our daughter Emily, pregnant with twins while my son-in-law, Andre is attending to his ailing father in Trinidad. Rest in Peace Dearest Taffy .... Did you hear the one about the big brown bear?

The CoM, staff and volunteers of Banksia Palliative Care extend their sincerest condolences to the family, and all of Taffys friends and former colleagues. Taffy was instrumental in the formation and development of our service - we do what we do, due largely to his passion and influence. We are extremely grateful for all Taffy gave us, and by extension all that he enabled us to do for people living with palliative illnesses - we make a difference, as he did throughout his life. On behalf of our whole team (current and former) and all of our clients and carers, we say Thank you Taffy!- you had an impact on our past, and will continue to impact our present and future. Vale Taffy!

Taffy, I miss you so much. You have left quite the void in my days. You brightened my day each time I greeted you, by telling me how wonderful it was to see me, it was literally the best way to start my mornings. Now without you to do this, my days are so dull. I love how much you and your family made me feel so valued. I wish I got to work with you for much much longer. I wish I knew you in your earlier years. I hope you are in peace now. Love Jo
